Izzie receives a research grant from Sigma Xi!

Congratulations to Isabella Martinez, who was awarded a Grant-in-Aid-of-Research (GIAR) from Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society! GIARs are awarded to students pursuing research in STEM, and Izzie will use this grant to fund her Senior Thesis Research project in the lab looking at variation in mating duration. This grant cycle, only 14% of proposals were funded, and only 15% of funded proposals were awarded to undergraduates! Outstanding work!
