I was interviewed by Ed Yong for an article in The Atlantic on PLoS Biology's new policy to publish papers that have been "scooped" in the last 6 months. My thoughts: it's great for researchers at smaller schools like Barnard.
My new paper with Michael Shahandeh and Tom Turner at UCSB has been published in Evolution. We show that male mate choice based on female pheromones accounts for the majority of reproduction isolation between two species of Drosophila.
